Terms Of Use
The terms for using southshorehvac.net, a referral service that connects South Shore homeowners with independent local HVAC contractors.
Effective November 1, 2026
These terms apply to your use of southshorehvac.net (the “site”), operated by South Shore HVAC Finder. By using the site you agree to them.
What This Site Is
South Shore HVAC Finder is a referral service. We help homeowners find and contact independent local HVAC contractors. We are not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise, inspect or guarantee any heating and cooling work, and the HVAC contractors you are connected with are not our employees or agents.
This site is a free service to assist homeowners in connecting with local service contractors. All contractors are independent and this site does not warrant or guarantee any work performed. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to verify that the hired contractor furnishes the necessary license and insurance required for the work being performed.
Your Responsibilities
- Check that any HVAC contractor you hire holds the Massachusetts license or registration the job requires, and carries appropriate insurance.
- Make sure required permits are pulled for the work.
- Get a written estimate or contract before work begins, and agree on price, scope and schedule directly with the HVAC contractor.
- Give accurate information when you call or send a request.
Information On The Site

No Warranties
The site and the referral service are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the site, the information on it, or any work performed by a HVAC contractor. We do not promise that a pro will be available at any particular time.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, South Shore HVAC Finder will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any damages arising from work performed or not performed by a HVAC contractor, from your dealings with a HVAC contractor, or from your use of the site. Any dispute about work belongs between you and the HVAC contractor you hired.
